Northumberland County, Pennsylvania

In 1772 Northumberland County was created and at that time encompassed the land areas of all Susquehanna, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Wyoming, Columbia, Montour, Snyder, Union, Centre, and part Bradford, Lycoming, Clinton, Centre and Mifflin Counties. By 1850 it became the area as we know it today.
