Exploring the Past and Touching the Future

 

The York County Heritage Trust and South Central Pennsylvania Genealogical Society will co-sponsor a genealogy conference titled Exploring the Past and Touching the Future on Saturday, June 2, 2012 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. It will be held at the York County Heritage Trust Museum & Library at 250 East Market Street. Pre-registration is required.

 

Whether just getting started, stuck on a ‘difficult’ ancestor or in need of a review, this conference will provide a broad array of research techniques, insight and information and will be of interest to all levels of researchers.  The presentations will explore the genealogical benefits of using such resources as Ancestry.com, county court records, land records, church registers and military pension files as well as the many resources available at the York County Heritage Trust Library & Archives.
