FREE Day-Long Program on Swedish Genealogy Research!
Presented by SwedGen Tour
SwedGen Tour will lead a free Swedish genealogy research day with presentations and demonstrations on how to use the various resources for Swedish genealogical and historical research. There will be presentations on Swedish genealogical online resources, Swedish genealogical CDs and Swedish emigration.
SwedGenTour is a group of 3 Swedish genealogists who every year make a tour to the US. We love to meet with Americans with Swedish background to help them in their Swedish genealogy research. As we know a lot about the Swedish who settled in western PA and – where they came from in Sweden and their settlements in the US – we have been looking forward to a presentation in Pittsburgh.
SwedGenTour have been travelling to the US for more than 10 years to teach people how to do Swedish genealogy and also help them get started. We have been to many places, Washington DC, Hartford, CT, Worcester, MA, Jamestown, NY, Chicago, IL, Rock Island, IL, Rockford, IL, Minneapolis, MN, Denver, CO and several other places through the years.
Please see the SwedGen Tour website for schedule and details. Individual consultations are available to the first 32 applicants – see the website to sign up! For questions, call 412-622-3154.
