Join us for a day of genealogy programming, with demonstrations and discussions of online resources, and an open-house session to ask questions about your family research. Refreshments will be served.

• Session 3: Learning to Use the "New" Pittsburgh Jewish Newspaper Project Website

Black and the Afro-American Historical & Genealogical Society for a workshop as they explore the genealogical research that became the basis for the History Center's new exhibition – From Slavery to Freedom, presented by BNY Mellon – and learn ways you can use those same research techniques to trace your own family roots.

Join us for a lunch-and-learn session with curator and historian Cathy Cerrone Fratto on the history of Italian Americans in Western Pennsylvania before taking part in breakout sessions that dive deeper into researching your own genealogical background.

Session 2

Conducting a Family Oral History, or Preserving Your Italian Heritage in the Garden
