As part of fulfilling its mission "to provide leadership and support in promoting genealogy through education, preservation, and access to Pennsylvania-related genealogical information," the Genealogical Society of Pennsylvania instituted the Partner Program.
Groups ranging from genealogical and lineage societies to college archives have become GSP Partners, combining their collective talents, experience and knowledge. The Partner Program is also intended to advocate for all local and long-distance researchers with Pennsylvania ancestry by supporting the preservation of, and access to, Pennsylvania records.
GSP has collaborated with organizations such as the Chester County Historical Society, the Temple Urban Archives, Mount Moriah Cemetery, and the National Archives Mid-Atlantic Region to provide joint programming and opportunities for genealogy researchers across the state, expanding their knowledge of research in Pennsylvania.
If your organization would like to become a Partner member at no cost, please use the form below to contact us, or email Joyce Homan, Executive Director, at execdir@genpa.org, to discuss potential opportunities for collaboration.
