This volume, seventh in a series of Pennsylvania Births, has been prepared as an aid for genealogical research in the pre-1780 church and meeting records of Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania. Births records for the years 1644 through 1765 for Philadelphia County can be found in an earlier volume of this series. As noted in the introduction to that volume, Philadelphia was a city rich in ethnic diversity.
