Publication information from the title page of the Bible is also recorded: “Bible, that is the Complete Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, By Herr Doctor Martin Luther, assembled with a preface, HerrJohn Meichael Dil, Master. Nurnberg: In the book selling house of John Andrea Endterischen Anno 17 is.” The Bible was in the possession of Gideon Hoch, Manatawny, Berks County, when it was translated and transcribed [date unknown). A list of the Bible’s inheritors down to Gideon Hoch is included at the end (see below)
