Springfield Reformed Church – Bucks County

The Springfield record is a small volume, 7 3/4 inches wide by 6 1/4 inches long, containing at present (1921) 192 pages. The book was begun by Jacob Riess on July 13, 1760, when he entered on the last page of the book an inventory of the communion set of the congregation.

The book contains almost exclusively baptismal entries which run from August 24, 1760 to July 12, 1829. there are two lists of catechumens, of the years 1781 and 1797 at the rear of the book.
